The TRIO Educational Talent Search program at Murray State University is currently accepting applications from students in grades 6-12. The program has two goals: 1) to help students successfully complete high school and 2) to help students enroll in and complete postsecondary education.

This includes 1-year certification programs, 2-year associate’s degrees, and 4-year bachelor’s degrees. We assist students with the enrollment process at ALL schools: vocational, technical, specialty, community college, and public or private universities.

Our program services will be provided virtually this year through a combination of methods: Google classroom activities, monthly Zoom meetings, virtual workshops, and more. These activities will be focused on academic skills, career exploration, college exploration, and financial literacy. Over 20 activities will be offered each semester; students are required to complete at least TWO.

There is NO COST to participate in the program. Priority acceptance is given to students who meet first general college status and income eligibility requirements, but space is available for students who exceed those requirements as well.
