Superintendent
We are pleased to announce and warmly welcome Mrs. Ellen Murphy as the new Superintendent of Fulton County Schools.
Mrs. Murphy brings 26 years of experience in education, having served in various leadership roles, including Fulton County High School Principal. Known for her commitment to academic excellence, equity, and fostering strong community relationships, she is dedicated to ensuring that every student has the opportunity to thrive.
Throughout her career, Mrs. Murphy has led initiatives that improved student outcomes, supported teacher development, and strengthened partnerships between schools and families. She is excited to bring this experience and vision to all of Fulton County Schools.
In her own words:

This is not just my role- it's my calling, and I'm honored to lead and grow Fulton County School District."
